1)Three Month Check-up

Eyeglasses are the most important part for your eyes. We recommend eyeglasses check-up once every three months. If your glasses are not straight, your vision may be inaccurate. Feel free to visit us whenever you feel discomfort. We are happy to clean and adjust your glasses and check your screws so that you can enjoy the best results.

2) How to Store Your Glasses

Most of lenses are delicate and can be easily damaged by heat. It is recommended to not leave your glasses in a car under the sun or wearing in a sauna. Exposed placement near fireplace can be destructive as well. If you are not wearing your glasses, store them inside a hard case.

3) How to Clean Your Glasses

Because eyeglasses are always being exposed to dust, we recommend that you clean them once a day, in the same time when you wash your face-with cold tap water. After rinsing cold water, wipe off excess water by using a special cleaning cloth. If you leave even a minute amount of water on the surface of the lenses, the water may soak into the lenses and this will be difficult to remove. If oily lenses are a problem, use a mild dish soap such as Dawn with cold water. Do NOT use a sponge to clean your lenses. Bring your glasses to us, we are happy to clean and service them for you.

4) Eyeglasses are Delicate

Use caution when caring for your glasses. Use both hands to put on and take off. If you take off your glasses, and only use one hand, the glasses will become off-center. This may result in a crooked appearance. Do NOT wear your glasses on your head like a hair band. When you wipe your lens, please use both hands like a picture. This is a good way to keep your glasses in good condition for a long period.

5) First Time Progressive Lens User

When you first get your glasses, we suggest using your progressive lenses INSIDE your home. Use the upper part of the lens for driving and the lower part for reading. Look for the best position by moving your chin up and down. If you are having troubles or challenges with your new lenses, we are glad to help.
